About Olympic Fruit
Olympic Fruit is a family business with the second generation now at the helm. Both our distribution center and office are located in the Dutch Fresh Port in Barendrecht, the largest Agro-Fresh-Food Cluster in the Netherlands. The Olympic Fruit team comprises around 27 colleagues. Together we take care of sourcing, trade, retail, back office, marketing, sustainability and quality.
We import fruit from all over the world. We do this all year round with fixed grower partners and two of our own growing locations in South Africa and Macedonia. Our clients include many retailers and wholesalers in Northwest Europe. Our history and many of our relationships go back over 20 years. This enables us to continue to excel in terms of quality and availability even in difficult times. Grapes and citrus fruit have a special place in our hearts. We can safely call ourselves specialists in these areas.
Olympic Fruit is a part of Olympic Food Group. The group includes three import and export companies (Hoofdman & Roodzant, Fresh Pride and Olympic Fruit), Fresh Pack Logistics and Innofruit (which includes our cultivation activities). As a group we operate worldwide, which gives us advantages on both import and export side. Next to this, Olympic Food Group operates as a Shared Service Center. It takes the burden off our hands and the other member companies in the areas of Finance, Marketing, CSR, IT and HR. This allows us to optimally focus on our core business.
